Encanto is a Disney film about a family, the Madrigals, with special gifts such as strength, beauty, and the ability to predict the future. The main character, Mirabel, feels like an outsider to her family because she is different. However, soon she realises that the magic of their family home is in danger, and she must save it.
My opinion on this film is mixed. While the animation is beautiful and enchanting, capturing the background and magic of this family, the film itself is a bit of a slow burner. It does have its dry areas. There are some comedic elements that uplift the film and I think it is fun for the whole family to watch.
