Marry Me, a romantic comedy tells the story of Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) and Bastian (Maluma) music superstars are about to win an award and get married on global TV but soon finds out Bastian has been unfaithful and freezes. Heartbroken and now live to thousands of fans, she refuses his hand and chooses to marry Charlie (Owen Wilson) a stranger from the audience. Both Kat and Charlie are thrust into a life of fame as they deal with the repercussions of their decision.
In my opinion, this film was good for what it is. The film was released around Valentine’s Day and captured the themes of Valentine’s Day well but other than being light hearted and fun with few comedic moments, there wasn’t much to the plot and Lopez and Wilson didn’t get to chance to act properly.
