Today is my Mum’s birthday and once again she is not here with me. My Mum is one of a kind, always lit up every room. She loved to party and loved to throw a party for any occasion. We couldn’t keep the lid on her excitement and it was infectious. I love to plan parties with her and see a fun side to my mother. I love her so much and I try to follow her example and seize every moment for what it is.
Mum.Today on your birthday, I am thinking of you more than ever and I want you to know that I love you and miss you every second of every day. On your birthday we will raise a glass to you in celebration. In the meantime you party hard and make the most out of those wings but remember, stay away from the wine.
