As part of studying MA Professional Creative Writing at Coventry University, I have to create a website and blog, similar to an online portfolio. This includes extracts of my writing, details of my journey as a professional writer and my personal development going into the industry.
A few years ago I decided to create such a portfolio for my published work, which expanded on the details and plotlines of each creative piece I was working on, but I failed to keep it up to date. As the portfolio is a compulsory part of the course, I thought it was a great chance to relaunch the website and blog as a whole, not just for University purposes. Keeping this blog is very fun and motivating. Relaunching #Sophiecreates will help me focus on my original creative works and promote my current and future publications.
